The following is my answer to a Quora question: “How do I become a member of Toastmasters?”

That is easy enough.  I suggest you look up clubs nearest to you, on the Toastmasters.org website.  Visit a few of them, and see if you are comfortable with their atmosphere, since different clubs have their own unique cultures.  As a guest, you may take part in the table topics, but you may not present project speeches.

Once you have made your decision, inform the club, and they will help you through the membership process.  Different clubs have different fees, with some being more expensive than others.  This may be a consideration for you.  Once the fees are paid, and Toastmasters International updated, you are a member.  This is quick, and efficient.
