The following is my answer to a Quora question: “How can you be expected to generate wealth, without capital, if you live hand to mouth?”
If you are living hand to mouth, you are not just poor; you are destitute. You are not in a position to generate any wealth. You need to fix that first, which means finding a way out of that poverty trap. This means availing yourself to poverty alleviation programmes, self-help schemes, skills improvement programmes or simply hustling. There is no quick fix.
