On the 30th July 2019, I was at Skies Toastmasters Club, as project evaluator. This was my 20th club visit, on the 30th day of the Toastmaster year.
The installation was conducted by Director, Area E4, Rishi Mehta. Andrew Kuan Yoke Loon was the table topics master. The language evaluator was Ng Kin Foong. There was an induction of new members for the year, in addition to the Installation of the ExCo.
There were five speakers in total. Bhavesh Kamdar gave his fourth speech, with slides. Alex Woo Wei Xiong spoke about his experience with the various mentors in his life, from his childhood, to his time in the military, to the beginnings of his career. Jaspreet Singh gave a humorous speech, his very first, about growing up in India, and the expectations of his family in education, career, and marriage. Deborah Lee gave her fourth Pathway speech. Wendy Tan gave an interpretive reading about the world from the experience of a blind man. It was eye-opening.
The project evaluators were Naseera Hidayatullah, Penny Anne Radcliffe, Tim Yi Hao, and myself.
