Division A Club Officer Training as Facilitator, 13th July 2019

On the 13^th July 2019, District 80 Division A held its Club Officer Training 1.  We would like to thank the clubs that took the time to send representatives for this.  The training was held at EASB Auditorium.  We would also like to thank District Director, Ernest Chen, and Club Growth Director, Jackson Chua, for dropping by.

The primary trainers were Celia Jacqueline Lim, Raymond Zhang, and Clement Chio.  The trainers and area directors then conducted breakout sessions for the various executive committee roles.  They were as follows:

President: Mithun Jugal Kishore Malani;

Vice-President, Education: Myself;

Vice-President, Membership: Joshua Tay W. H.;

Vice-President, Public Relations: Raymond Zhang;

Secretary: Clement Chio;

Treasurer: Thomas Chen Jun Ying; and

Sergeant-at-Arms: Celia Jacqueline Lim.

Special thanks, also, to Li Shan Shan, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make things work.

The training covered issues such as club growth, membership retention, and concerns specific to corporate clubs and how to address them.  Raymond Zhang also kindly went through the Pathway programme which has a slower than anticipated adoption rate.

The programme proceeded without incident, and we finished ahead of time.
