Medical inflation in the developed world is in double
digits. In Singapore itself, voted to
have one of the best healthcare systems in the world, it was almost 20% two
years ago, and down to 15% last year. In
light of that, it is important to have comprehensive medical and
hospitalisation coverage. This is a
need, not a want. And because of this
need, it is important to have qualified and credible people to service this
need. Not only will there be
opportunities in this field, but it is expected to grow as the market does.
