Introducing Moneynomist

“Moneynomist” is a play on the words, “money” and “economist”.  The Moneynomist team is a group of financial advisors from AIA Toastmasters Club.  Together, we have over a century of experience in the finance industry, and half a century in Toastmasters.  We bring together a unique blend of experience in the industry, and our Toastmasters journey, with the ability to translate that Toastmaster experience into better performance in your career, your professional life, and your personal growth. 

From a Toastmasters perspective, Eric Tan Shi Wei, Gerald Yong Kim Heong, Margrette Lo Foong Quan, Oh Cheng Kok, Terence Kenneth John Nunis, and Zhuo Shu Zhen; have all been club presidents of AIA Toastmasters Club, and Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club, both well-established, Presidents Distinguished Clubs.  We have a wealth of experience as club officers, District officers, appointment holders, trainers, club mentors and sponsors, and competition winning speakers. 

From a professional perspective, the team consists of elite HNW financial planners with career experiences that span officer appointments in the military, regional controller of MNCs, chartered accountants, strategic consultants, independent directors, and public speakers.  This gives us the credibility to address a variety of issues from team building, to financial structuring, to executive coaching.  We have spoken on platforms outside of Toastmasters, from corporate events, to executive training workshops, to programmes organised by external entities such as the People’s Association. 

Thus far, our clients have included multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, and ultrahigh net worth individuals.  It is with this wealth of experience, this allows us to confidently state we are the best at what we do, which is utilising the skills of rhetoric, effective communication, and public speaking and marrying it with our professional experience to create unique, and fulfilling programmes for our clients.
