The following is my answer to a Quora question: “Why
is Japan demanding more proof, from the US, that Iran attacked tankers?”
It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out why.
The US is not a credible nation when it
comes to anything. The US has been
caught, time and time again, being involved in false flag operations, such as
the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, the pretext for the Vietnam War. The world has also not forgotten the fabricated
“evidence” that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
In that light, it is only natural that Japan demand
more proof, and verifiable ones at that. This was an act of aggression against Japanese
assets, and they would be very interested in the real culprits. Japan is certainly not convinced Iran
perpetrated the attack since the Iranians have nothing to gain from it. The Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, was
actually involved in talks with Iran to restart the nuclear deal.
