AIA TMC as Project Evaluator, 12th December 2019

On the 12^th December 2019, AIA Toastmasters Club, and Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club, held a joint meeting.  I was the project evaluator. 

The sergeant-at-arms was Liang Ye.  The Toastmaster of the Day was Linda Lee.  The timer was Angela Lansbury, and Amina Boumediene.  The ah counter was Tiffany Choo C. C.  The table topics master was Iris Lim.  The language evaluator was Hyder bin Muhammad Taufik.  The creative director was Joy Chow Jie Lin.  The photographer was Eric Tan Shi Wei.  There were also special song and dance segments facilitated by Linda Lee, Zhuo Shu Zhen, and Ng Kin Foong. 

Loh Hao Yi gave a speech about windows in different iterations.  It was a humorous speech that the speaker put together as a last-minute replacement.  This made it more impressive. 

Sayed Hamzah Alhabshe spoke about his experience with a bad mentor.  There are people who are good at what they do, but they are terrible at passing on institutionalised knowledge.  He addressed just such an issue, and the painful journey rebuilding his confidence. 

Cindy Gan Chia Ee spoke about her mission impossible to mission possible, a charity project that involved managing different character archetypes. 

The evaluators were Anand Ariyarathinam, Ng Kin Foong, and myself. 

Best Speaker: Cindy Gan Chia Ee;

Best Evaluator: Ng Kin Foong; and

Best Table Topics Speaker: Diane Lin.
