There are
words we need to borrow from other languages.
From Japanese, that word of the day is “bakku-shan” (バックシャン). “Bakku-shan”
is a composite of “bakku” (バック), meaning “back”; and “shan” (シャン) meaning “beautiful”. “Shan” is actually derived from the German
“schön”. It is a sort of slang
idiomatic phrase, referring to a woman who is attractive when seen from behind,
but ugly when viewed from the front.
These are my thoughts on business development and management issues. I worked for years as a consultant and in various positions in the logistics and maritime industry. We have handled projects from training and development to corporate imaging and branding.
