There are phrases we need to borrow from other languages. From Italian, that phrase of the day is “cavoli
riscaldati”. “Cavoli riscaldati”
literally means “reheated cabbage”. This
is derived from a proverb, “Cavoli riscaldati né amore ritornato non fu mai
buono”, “neither reheated cabbage nor revived love is ever any good.” This idiomatic phrase, a sort of synecdoche,
means “a pointless attempt to revive a former love affair.”
These are my thoughts on business development and management issues. I worked for years as a consultant and in various positions in the logistics and maritime industry. We have handled projects from training and development to corporate imaging and branding.
