On the 05th November
2019, I was at EMinent Communicators Toastmasters Club, as language evaluator. This was my 108th club visit on
the 128th day of the Toastmaster year.
The
sergeant-at-arms, as well as Toastmaster of the Day, was Mithun Jugal Kishore Malani, the table
topics master was Putu Sanjaya Setiawan, the timer was Khoo Li Shan, and the ah
counter was Anand Rangarajan.
Swaminathan
Rajamanickam gave a comprehensive presentation about data visualisation. It is a key differentiation in a competitive
landscape, where data has to be extrapolated efficiently to arrive at quick
decisions. It is extremely difficult to
make a technical subject interesting, but the speaker succeeded admirably.
Debananda
Patro spoke about his path towards achieving his Distinguished Toastmasters,
and the requirements for it. He
presented a proposal to the group, and elicited an enthusiastic response.
The
evaluators were Alexander Gummenscheimer, and Mithun Jugal Kishore Malani.
Best Table Topics Speaker: Myself.
There was no voting for best speaker, and best
evaluator.
