The following is my answer to a Quora question: “Can
an attorney represent a trustee, and a beneficiary, at the same time?”
Depending on the nature of the work, although it could
be conceivable. However, in most cases,
it would be a conflict of interest simply because the trustee, and the
beneficiary have different needs, and interests. As such, in light of contentions that may
arise, it is not recommended at all.
