The following is my answer to a Quora question: “Are
bank direct deposits paid out in the morning of the day of maturity or that
evening?”
Direct deposits are not financial instruments. They do not mature. When a bank has to pay out something, or when you are
due a deposit into your account, it is made available at the beginning of the
day.
