After the opening remarks by myself as Event Chair, we were pleased to have an address by Ms. Wong Sze Keed, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Singapore; by Ms. Yeo Wan Ling, Assistant Secretary General, NTUC and Director of NTUC Women & Family; followed by a special address by Dr. Roslina Chai.
Sze Keed shared the leadership framework they use at AIA, which is
clarity, courage and humanity. Wan Ling
spoke about her experience as Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris Punggol, and
how exercising leadership requires empathy, humanity and compassion. Dr. Chai spoke about how great leaders get
things done without fuss, but terrible leaders get movies made of their story.
