Specific to Singapore, property is an excellent investment provided
there are enough funds to diversify into other asset classes, and you are not
over-leveraged. This would mean a property
investment portfolio is out of the reach of most Singaporeans. The closest they have would be REITs. Unlike property, REITs are more liquid, and
have a ready secondary market.
